We used Barn and Bone to watch our lab for the weekend. He has a lot of energy and honestly never tires. After spending 2 days at Barn and Bone, he slept for another 2 days! I received some pictures and videos from Elizabeth and I know he had fun and was well loved! They also dropped off Duke for a small which was SO convenient! Definitely using them again!

Sometimes you find a good place that you’ll go back to, and sometimes you find an AMAZING place that you can’t live without. Barn and Bone is that place that you can’t live without. They have the compassion and love for every animal that comes through the doors. Dogs don’t lie, so when the dogs are excited about coming, you know they treat them so well. Barn and Bone Boarding is an in home dog boarding service located here in McCalla, AL. We take all sizes of dogs as long as they are up to date on vaccines and relatively non-aggressive. We are dog owners ourselves and loved the idea that we could give other dog families a great place to leave their pets with lots of space to run and play. We would love the chance to care for your dog on your next trip or vacation and would like to answer the most common questions we receive.

Answers to Common Questions:

  • Your pet will not stay in a cage all day! We are not a traditional boarder. Our service includes multiple play sessions both outside and inside designed to care for your dog and make their stay a happy one.
  • If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs, we do have multiple private play areas to keep your dog and other dogs safe.
  • We can accomodate all sizes of dogs.
  • We can care for all of your dogs medications as well as special dietary needs
  • All dogs that stay with us are up to date on all vaccines.
  • We love animals and will do our absolute best to make this the best boarding experience for you and your dog!
